 Our apartment is in a small beach resort, nestling between the pine forests and the sea, between Pedro do Moel & Nazaré. Pedra do Ouro is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway as well as being a small beach resort in its own right, adjacent to the medieval pine forests all over this region, it also lies between the resorts of Vale de Paredes and São Pedro do Moel - just 3 km from their cafes, bars and restaurants.

The many kilometres of unspoilt, uninterrupted sandy beach make it easy to be alone even in the height of summer, yet it is within easy reach of all amenities - a perfect base for relaxing and enjoying its natural surroundings. With historic sight-seeing opportunities only short drives away - there are no less than 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites in this area of Portugal.

This fully air-conditioned 1st (top) floor apartment is of the highest quality with furnishings to match its highly contemporary build-style: Briefly, the massive 33 sq m living room faces south/west with 6m of patio doors round one corner & a balcony along 2 entire sides of the apartment. A huge corner sofa also provides a double sofa bed. It also has a polished-wood floor.

There is an iPod docking station with speakers is available for use with guests' own iPods.

The separate and spacious fully-fitted kitchen also opens onto the balcony making alfresco dining even more convenient. It includes all Whirlpool stainless-steel appliances - dishwasher, washer, huge fridge/freezer, integrated cooker, touch-operated ceramic hob, and microwave, and boasts a granite work top. This is a kitchen which would be fabulous in a permanent home!

There are two double bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and polished-wood floors with double doors (with external electric roller shutters) opening onto the balcony.

The bathroom and en suite are both fully-tiled and of highly contemporary design with underfloor-heating. The bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower whilst the en suite boasts a double sized shower.

The entrance hall benefits from yet another built-in cupboard and has a porter-video/telephone down to the main entrance door. There is also a security alarm.

The apartment's terrace runs the whole length of the apartment on both its south and west sides, benefiting from the sun all afternoon/evening.

Each block of 10 apartments shares a private fenced grassed garden with large solar-heated pool surrounded by wooden decking. We provide our guests with sunbeds with tables and inflatables/lilos to enjoy the pool area even more. When you feel like something more active, there are tennis and badminton racquets, beach-bats and ball, 2 body-boards and 4 brand new aluminium-framed 18-gear adult-sized bikes (2 men's, 2 women's) for use by our guests.

Our apartment also benefits from a private lockable double garage under our block.

Close by, there is a children's playground and a tennis court and 5-a-side football court.

Booking notes
A deposit of 20% is required at time of booking and the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival.

A refundable security deposit of €150 against damages/breakages is required, refundable upon inspection of the property.
